"Taylor is the only kicker that we really considered drafting," general Manager Mickey Loomis said after the draft in April. "He is a strong-legged guy and has been consistent and improved each season. We are happy to have him."

The Rams and defensive end Chris Long, the second overall pick in the draft, reached an agreement on a contract Saturday night, according to a published report in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

The Cowboys have signed safety Ken Hamlin to a six-year deal worth roughly $39 million, according to The Associated Press. The pact includes a $9 million signing bonus, and guarantees Hamlin approximately $15 million. Hamlin set career highs with five interceptions and 102 tackles for the Cowboys last season. He was a starter for the NFC in his first Pro Bowl.
